Palmer Harding
On day 3 my first show was the fabulous Palmer Harding. I was invited by the wonderful team at Ultimate Ears, and what a pleasure it was. Upon arrival at Lincoln's Inn we were escorted into a 17th century chapel with the most divine architecture, the perfect backdrop for a breath taking collection. All guest sat frow which meant everyone present was made to feel VIP. The collection was predominantly a white and nude palette with splashes of hot pink and yellow. Each design had an uneven element allowing the fabric to drape effortlessly down the catwalk, moving as a feather would in the breeze. Burnout effect details over layers of soft magnolia, cornflower blue and primrose yellow added texture to chiffon and lace. Hair and nails were kept simple and the looks were completed with chain effect slippers and Ultimate Ears 360ยบ sound speakers. A truly amazing show!
Topshop Unique
How excited I was to be attending the Topshop show for the first time! The atmosphere was amazing and the frow was packed full of all the IT girls including Anna Wintour, Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung. The theme was tennis girl meets college student meets seaside prom in true Brit youth style. Clean lines of athletic stripes, floppy skirts and accents of burgundy, black and red set against bowling bags were amongst the first looks to emerge. The entire show had a care free feel with fabric pleated details and bold prints. A collection that us mere mortals can actually afford, only problem is that we now have to wait until SS15!
