Dress: c/o BOB at M&S, Coat & Shoes: c/o Limited Edition at M&S, Necklace: c/o M&S, Bag: Zara

So I recently partnered up with Marks & Spencer to style a piece of their Best of British collection with a head to toe look from M&S. I opted for this red draped front dress, which I have to say feels so soft on the skin and has the perfect draping which aligns the silhouette perfectly. Keeping a british feel I chose to style the dress with a classic trench coat, a requirement for the British weather and these gorgeous limited edition mules and rope necklace. A classic look needs a simple hairstyle so I kept my hair sleek in order to let the clothes take centre stage!

What do you think of my look?

London Fashion Week was all about the designers showcasing their collections but there was one brand that was set on showing what our high street has to offer and that brand was M&S. Marks & Spencer debuted their AW14 range at LFW for the first time by celebrating their Best of British design, craftsmanship and creativity, supporting home-grown talent and expertise. Added to this their collection of snugly knitwear, awesome coats in herringbone and checks, and a coveted jacquard floral printed suit, it really is a lust worthy collection.

Continuing to stick to their promise of using high quality fabrics made only in Britain, the brand ensures this home grown design is upheld by using skilled craftsmanship, fine detailing and premium fabrics. The collection consists of key investment classic pieces with a modern twist fusing heritage sensibility with a contemporary aesthetic to take you through the winter months.

The 54-piece collection includes outerwear manufactured in Manchester, knitwear from Scotland and footwear from Northamptonshire, with prices ranging from £19.50 for a leather cuff to £349 for a wool coat, all available from August. Continuing with the British homage even the colours of soft red, white and royal blue set the main palette, with the latter colour again proving to be a hit for AW14. All in all a bold, strong collection filled with superior attention to detail....I for one am definitely looking forward to this hitting stores. Once again M&S champions great British style!
