Last week I arrived at the Shard in London to attend yoga with the Farfetch team. For those who are unaware of Farfetch, they create an inspirational shopping experience to fashion forward consumers and house luxury avant-garde designer brands online and within their 400 fashion boutiques creating an innovative approach to merchandising and selling. Allowing their customers to shop handpicked exclusive pieces delivered from the boutique straight to their home.

Taking the train at 7am in the morning wearing yoga gear surrounded by city workers was very strange. But as soon as I arrived at the shard on the top floor to breathtaking iconic views 1,016ft high above ground level, it was totally worth it! I have done yoga a few times before, however working out with London as a back drop somehow just made me relax and really let go of any stresses and anxiety I had prior. Some of the moves were quite complex but the trainer really engaged with us and made us feel very comfortable.

Yogasphere at The Shard was founded by Mandy Jharmat and Leo Lourdes and provide the highest weekly yoga sessions in the world. Plus for every client that attends a class, Yogasphere plants 10 trees, and for every one to one session taken they plant 50 trees. Their aim is to plant 1 billion trees through yoga! I love working out for a cause..... that in itself is definitely an incentive to attend yoga at The Shard.

Afterwards Farfetch provided a gorgeous and of course healthy breakfast for us all at the Shangri-La Hotel in our own private dining space. We had yogurts, smoked salmon, egg and other yummy treats with a selection of teas. I definitely ate too much but the food was soooo good, and it was such a great way to start my day. Thanks again to the Farfetch team and Yogasphere for such an enlightening and relaxing experience!

Last month I attended Ascot for the very first time, and I couldn't have attended with a better brand than Coast, their press team, and a few other bloggers. If you have ever attended Ascot, you will know that Coast is the go to brand on the high street for occassion wear, I can't tell you how many outfits we spotted there.

Being more of a glam dresser this suited me to a T! I absolutely love getting dressed up to attend events and the fact that I was surrounded by so many gorgeous well dressed women on Ladies Day was a fantastic experience. I have always been a lover for a midi skirt and so as soon as Coast told me that I would be dressed head to toe in the brand, I instantly had an idea of what I wanted to wear. Browsing the website I  fell in love with this Ameliana skirt, the colour composition initially drew me in and the length was just perfect. Coast invited me to their Oxford St store to have a personal styling session to pick out my outfit. I initially went for this beautiful yellow skirt, as the Ameliana skirt was sold out. A week later I spotted it in John Lewis and I had to have it as it's definitely a piece I will wear again and again...timeless! With so many rules and regulations to dressing for Ascot, there was so much to consider when planning my outfit. Luckily we were in the Windsor Enclosure which meant that I was able to wear an off shoulder top finishing off my look with pearl earrings, this cute bow bag and a black fascinator

We took the train to Ascot from London which took around 45mins and then a short 10min walk from the station to the racing grounds. On arrival we had a luscious picnic and of course I placed a few bets... I mean I couldn't go all the way to Acot and not place at least one bet! Luckily I went home even so it was a good day in the end! It was such a lovely experience, with sun, champagne, and the juiciest of strawberries. Thanks again to Coast and the press team!

I recently attended a blogger's breakfast held by Long Tall Sally at their head office in London where I got to view the high summer collection before it launched in stores. Although the collection was mainly classic, there were a few pieces which were trendy and when paired with the right items could really set the perfect tone for a fashion conscious tall girl.

I have always wanted a pair of dungarees and this season the merch team over at LTS have designed one for all the leggy girls all over the world. Another style that was on offer in abundance were jumpsuits and after trying them on I can conclude that they really do fit well, perfectly long enough in the body, rise and legs. The floral style above is my favourite, check out my instagram page to see how I styled it.

What do you think of the new LTS high summer range?

British label Joseph presented their first ever runway show earlier this year at LFW showcasing the AW14 collection. Last month they held their press day and invited me to their head quarters to view the collection up close. This season Joseph kept vintage Britain at the forefront whilst infusing a western theme with tasselled bags, coats, scarves and even neck ties. The vintage feel came in an empowering statement pixelated knitcheck twin set (sweater and legging combo above) which although one would probably never wear head to toe around London, paired separately creates a cool, laid back British heritage feel. All of this was juxtaposed against a modern day rock chick vibe with biker jackets, oversized chunky knits and beanies. The masculine colour palette was kept dark with hints of grey, navy and red. The highlight for me was the red blurred check biker coat, such a statement!  One thing I know for sure is, this fall the Joseph girl will definitely be keeping chic and cosy whilst emulating a fierce look not to be reckoned with!

What do you think of the collection? You can take a look at their SS14 styles here.
