Textured cape: H&M (love this), Textured skirt: H&M (both now in the sale), Blouse: Topshop
Bag: LK Bennett, Shoes: LK Bennett, Jewellery: J Crew, Glasses: Crosseyes, Brooch: Chanel

I'm mixing checker board and 60s mod in today's post, styling this cute textured cape and skirt coord which are now both in the sale. For the winter try wearing this set with a bright turtle neck and over the knee boots for a true mod feel! I love taking one print and duplicating the pattern through a  mixture of textures and fabrics, it just creates such a fun ensemble. I wore this outfit to the Topshop show and this adorable bag from LK Bennett was the perfect match for my window pane check shirt.

After Topshop I headed straight to Bond St for the new Jimmy Choo Town House official store launch. There were so many gorgeous shoes in an abundance of styles, literally something for every occasion. My faves were the Atila flats, the perfect style for the streets of  London and extremely comfortable! Yet the award for the best stand out shoe had to be this lace bootie....utter hotness! Which style is your favourite?

Dress c/o Emma Louise London, Coat: H&M, Glasses c/o Crosseyes London, Tights c/o Wolford
Necklace: Zara (similar), Bag: Mulberry, Shoes: Zara (current), Gold cuff: Whistles

I recently received this gorgeous shift dress from current label love, Emma Louise London who has some amazing pieces in her SS14 range including multi coloured popcorn prints, mosaic patterns, through to playsuits, blouses, and tailored trousers. Allowing the digital prints to stand at the forefront, Emma really encapsulates the playful, chic, yet sophisticated style we Londoners like! Browsing through the website, this shift dress with it's bright kaleidoscopic print immediately caught my attention as it's full of colour, perfect for summer and in person has the silkiest touch against the body. Styled with a bright yellow coat and a contrasting red bag I was ready to head out for a day of press events around London. This dress literally got so many compliments, I simply can't wait to go bare legged and wear it in the warmer months to come!

You will notice that I am also wearing a new set of specs courtesy of quirky Danish brand Crosseyes, who recently opened their first ever store outside of Denmark here in London. I attended a valentines event they hosted back in February and was blown away by the brand ethos. Mixing old fashion craft with a modern approach towards design and quality as well as new frames every month ensures the brand's uniqueness within eyewear and optometry. For those of you who wear glasses, you will love their concept as it's simple with clear pricing from £85 (no strength) and sunglasses starting from £95. All you have to do is turn up for your complimentary eye test, choose your limited edition frame and you're good to go! And if you decide to go with a pair of sunnies, they even have a choice of different tints which is included in the price. I opted for these bold two-tone geeky looking specs which are lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear all day and are perfect to add that extra chicness to my outfits. If you're looking for a new pair of fashionable specs without the hefty price tag, then you should definitely pay Crosseyes a visit!

Hope you all had a lovely Easter!
