Being tall I'm definitely a sucker for a longline blazer as they are perfect from breaking up my frame. This gorgeous feathered beauty was recently sent to me by the PLT team and I'm so in love with it. It's from the Lucy Mecklenburgh's chic party collection of old school glamour and elegant silhouettes and for £25 it really is worth it. Keeping my look casual for the day, I styled the blazer with my go to ripped skinnies and this lace victorian blouse, providing an elegant ensemble finished off with an edgy twist. With christmas parties on the horizon this feathered trim piece will be the perfect accomplice to a LBD and statement heels!
Sweater season is finally here... and this makes me super excited as Autumn is my favourite season. I absolutely love layering during the colder months and being able to play with textures and colours. Recently I have been loving this structured grid sweater from Reiss, I seriously can't stop wearing it. The bold colour and heavy fabric keeps me cosy whilst creating an impactful look. Styled with culottes and heels keeps my outfit casual for a day of meetings yet transferable for evening drinks.
Box bags were everywhere during the summer and they are going nowhere for fall... so invest now! This patent beauty is in the colour of the season and the chain strap presents an elegant, go with everything feel!
I have recently become accustom to wearing a watch... which I haven't done since I was 13yrs old. Yes I know, instead I relied on my mobile phone! This wooden watch works perectly with my style as it is made from maple wood, and so modern and sustainable. One month in and I've already got a collection going!
How gorgeous is this twinset?! This divine duo is the produce of new tall brand Marge Clothing who tailors luxury, timeless clothing for the tall woman. No more making do or wearing cheap materials, this brand is elegance at it's finest. And the luxury continues in the packaging as every order comes beautifully wrapped in a sleek black box and ribbon.
Marge Clothing was founded by 6'1'' Kaersten Cooper who I recently had the pleasure of interviewing to find out a little more about the brand. Kaersten's passion goes beyond words...its always nice to speak to others who really want to make a difference as much as you do. Taking inspiration from Marjorie her grandmother's illustrations, Kaersten created a strong collection of chic classic pieces with a twist that fits not only our frames but also our lifestyles.
As you know I usually love to accessorise my outfits and play with colours. However this time I chose to just let the clothes speak for them self. This top and skirt duo felt so easy to wear as it's very fluid therefore moves effortlessly with you. Be sure to have a browse through the lookbook here. Styling with this adorable patent bag and strappy snakeskin heels defintely adds a modern touch. With flats and kitten heels trending for AW, I also purchased these black pair as they are so comfy and will definitely take me through fall. And to complete my look a touch of sparkle from Happiness Boutique who offer free shopping worldwide.
I've always been more a skirt girl but lately I seem to be edging more towards trousers. This is probably due to the fact that there are a much larger variety of long trouser options available at the moment with the 70's trend in full swing! These palazzo trousers from Asos Tall were another one of my must haves, they are super long and so easy to wear. Not only do they come in this burgundy shade but they also have black too here.
Keeping my look sophisticated, I styled these pants with a burgundy fedora, a striped blazer and skinny belt to emphasise my waist, as sometimes a wide leg can be quite overwhelming.

This outfit was the perfect look I needed to attend a few meetings last week. Professional and chic yet the unexpected pleated details on the back of the blazer just added that extra modern touch! This pastel suit is a great duo for the warmer months to come as they can be worn separately in so many ways. I'm personally looking forward to styling the blazer with denim and pointy flats on the weekends. The addition of this dipped dyed cashmere sweater added just the right amount of colour pop needed!
I can't tell you how many times I have worn these silver shoes. I seriously am thinking of purchasing another pair. They are so easy to walk in and have the right amount of point...love!
Lately I have had this perforated midi on repeat. I can't seem to get enough of this pleated midi skirt (last styled here).... and you all know how much I love my midi's! This time I opted to style it with complimentary nudes and burgundy tones, and this blush pink cosy sweater was the perfect piece to style a nude ensemble. It's super chunky and has the most voluminous turtle neck to snuggle up in.
I seriously can't get enough of capes lately and this chic style is so easy to wear. I also love the fact that it comes in such a long length too. Perfect weekend wear styling with these high waisted ripped jeans from Asos Tall (my denim saviours). I simply can't stress how comfy and super soft these jeans are, they are high waisted so provides a streamlined silhouette and they literally move with you. Adding this coveted Chic Happens sweater, accessorised with a floral denim collar and a fedora completes a simple and relaxed outfit.
