Leather Jacket: River Island, Bralet: Miss Selfridge, Culottes: Topshop, Bag: Asos (similar)
Shoes: Asos, Sunglasses: Vintage, Necklace: Zara

Sometimes a simple black and white ensemble can say so much with very little styling required. Take this bralet and culottes combo, styled on their own works well for an evening dinner but the addition of a white leather jacket and contrasting blue clutch adds edge to the overall look for a lunch date. These culottes have literally been a summer staple for me as they go with so many things in my closet, definitely my go to summer trouser!

What has been your summer staple?

Coat: River Island, Blouse: Topshop, Skirt: Topshop, Bag: Zara, Shoes: LK Bennett, Cuff: Coast Necklace: Ily Couture, Brooch: Chanel, Fur stole: Oliver Bonas (similar)

With chceks continuing to be a popular trend for SS14, this skirt was the perfect choice for day one of LFW. I had this skirt sitting in my closet for a while and wanted to give it a spin by pairing it with this spotted blouse contrasting the prints. As I had quite a few shows to go, to my obvious choice of footwear had to be flats and these beauties from LK Bennett I am literally in love with...super comfy, high shine silver and ladylike chic...the perfect combo!

Coat: Marks & Spencer, Sweater: River Island, Skirt: Asos, Shoes: New Look (similar), Hat: H&M, Sunglasses: Vintage, Bag: Chanel, Necklace: Mango (old)

Firstly let's talk about this hat.....grey plus rhinestones equals utter hotness! As soon  as I saw this online it went straight into my shopping bag. If you're thinking of purchasing one, bear in mind that it does come up slightly big, I'm wearing the s/m. This is my take on a sporty chic look. As I love the combination of pink and grey together this coat was the perfect addition. With slogan sweatshirts trending for SS14, this monochrome River Island version is a great way to dip into the trend without overkill. Use a shouty logo to express how your feeling by wearing your thoughts on your sleeve!

Dress: Paper Dolls c/o Bank Fashion (sold out, skirt version), Shirt: Bershka (old), Biker Jacket: River Island, Hat: H&M, Shoes: Asos, Necklace: Zara, Bag: Zara (old), Sunglasses: Vintage, Bracelet: ADR

Spring will be here soon and this floral dress courtesy of Bank Fashion definitely makes me look forward to the warmer months to come. For now I will be layering it over a denim blouse for the day or wearing with a black blazer and heels at night. Dresses that streamline the silhouette is one of my favourite features and this baby sure does the trick! Picking up on the green accents I styled it with my new super comfy courts from Asos.

I'm finally putting my outfits together for fashion week and can't wait to see the new collections for AW14. Be sure to follow what I get up to on Instagram (@londontallgirl).

casual florals
Vest and wedges-Topshop, Floral pants-River Island, Clutch-Asos, Necklace and bracelets-H&M,  Sunglasses-Prada, Jacket-Zara

Just a little weekend outfit inspiration, found these amazing floral pants and kept as the focus of the outfit.

This parka is definitely on my shopping list, great for the ever changing weather here in London. The extra detailing of the leather sleeve and rouching at the waist just makes it the perfect trans-seasonal parka of choice!

p.s. If you are a leggy chic then roll the pants up so they just graze the ankle to show off the straps on the wedges.
