As you know I love my midi skirts and this beauty currently comes in a variety of colour ways to choose from. The hi low hem takes it from being a standard midi to a fun and flirty piece that can be styled in so many ways.

I opted to style it with a relaxed vest top that is more for casual gym styling. However the party season doesn't always mean that you have to purchase something new. The fun of styling is all about recreating looks from the pieces you already have in your wardrobe. Adding a biker jacket with fringe detailing and an embellished clutch provides an ensemble that will take you from a dinner date to the dance floor!

There's just something about a twinset combo that I find the most endearing. Maybe it's the elegance and vintage vibe it provides. When I spotted this Juicy Couture denim tweed blazer and bag set I instantly fell in love. It's just so cute and chic, plus the denim keeps it looking young and trendy... and less grandma and pearls!

Playing with the denim theme I paired the duo with this button down skirt (last styled here). The great thing about this skirt is that it's available in tall, petite and standard sizes so no need to worry about the length or fit, and it literally is the softest denim at a bargain price point. Of course a pair of skinny jeans and sneakers would work just as well. You really can never go wrong with denim!

Top: Pretty Little Thing (love this), Skirt: New Look c/o Fashion Chick, Shoes: Topshop, Bag: Chloe Sunglasses: Kite, Bracelets: J Crew, Annie Haak

Lately I have become obsessed with the off the shoulder trend. Hands down this is my favourite trend this summer as it's super easy to wear and so effortless. This Pretty Little Thing dip dye style was an instant love at first sight. From the exaggerated bell sleeves to the cropped style, this beauty is a sure summer winner! And if the off shoulder trend is not your thing then PLT have a range of tie dye styles that I'm sure will win you over.

Button down midi skirts are literally everywhere on the high street at the moment from denim to suede, this is a great investment to carry through to the colder months. This denim skirt comes in tall, petite and regular and was given to me by the lovely team over at Fashion Chick. If you follow me on instagram you will recall a dinner event I recently attended hosted by the team. By styling it with a few buttons undone loans a sexy element yet provides ease of movement whilst on the go. To complete my look I accessorised with my new Chloe Faye bag (I have linked the exact plus a Chloe dupe above) and my current everyday gladiator sandals.

Sweater: Zara, Skirt: c/o Almost Famous, Hat: Whistles (similar), Necklace: c/o New Look
Shoes: c/o Hobbs, Bag: Zara, Sunglasses: Vintage, Bracelets: c/o Annie Haak, J Crew

Lately I have had this perforated midi on repeat. I can't seem to get enough of this pleated midi skirt (last styled here).... and you all know how much I love my midi's! This time I opted to style it with complimentary nudes and burgundy tones, and this blush pink cosy sweater was the perfect piece to style a nude ensemble. It's super chunky and has the most voluminous turtle neck to snuggle up in.

What do you think?

Last time I styled this Hobbs midi skirt was during the summer in the sweltering heat of New York and now in Autumn it works so well due to the weight and fabric! I just love the fact that this colour is so transitional, yet bright enough to lift your mood during dull weather. Most items in this outfit are oldies however being able to rework your timeless pieces over and over again is the best thing about having a capsule wardrobe! Always think about next season when parting with your money in a store as increasing your cost per wear just adds unlimited opportunities when it comes to styling!

Coat: Marks & Spencer, Sweater: River Island, Skirt: Asos, Shoes: New Look (similar), Hat: H&M, Sunglasses: Vintage, Bag: Chanel, Necklace: Mango (old)

Firstly let's talk about this hat.....grey plus rhinestones equals utter hotness! As soon  as I saw this online it went straight into my shopping bag. If you're thinking of purchasing one, bear in mind that it does come up slightly big, I'm wearing the s/m. This is my take on a sporty chic look. As I love the combination of pink and grey together this coat was the perfect addition. With slogan sweatshirts trending for SS14, this monochrome River Island version is a great way to dip into the trend without overkill. Use a shouty logo to express how your feeling by wearing your thoughts on your sleeve!

I was recently contacted by the lovely team over at Asos to style an item from their party range for New Year's eve. Being a lover of statement pieces, of course I went for this awesome tulle skirt. My challenge was to rework this gorgeous baby 5 different ways which reflects my signature style. As you know I absolutely love big skirts, and experiment I did, creating these 5 looks!

Forget celebrating the New Year in a dress, try a statement skirt for a change. From an ultra glam outfit for a NY's eve ball, to a formal dinner party, to a casual look, the tulle skirt is a real multi-tasker. Check out the feature on Asos Fashion Finder here and be sure to heart your favourite.

Which look is your favourite?
