This is my second look showing you how I wear my jeans to work for the Dorothy Perkins denim campaignBlack jeans are the perfect alternative for casual fridays in the office, and easy enough to get away with when wearing denim to work. Styling my denim with a longline white blouse and colour block coat keeps my look formal and chic. I have recently become addicted to longline shirts as they are so easy to style but also looks super smart no matter how you style it. Opt for a printed shirt like this for the weekends.

I finally found the perfect red coat. I have been after a red coat for ages and I seem to have every other colour but red?! This beauty is made from wool and so has been my life saver over the last few weeks with the London weather taking a turn. Of course my outfit wouldn't be complete without a print in tow and the addition of print came in the form of these spotted flats. If flats aren't your thing then they also are available in these heels too.

So I recently did a shoot for Dorothy Perkins to show their readers three ways us tall girls can style denim. You can read the full post here. The jean in question was their current Eden style which is a super skinny jegging jean... perfect for us leggy girls and this style comes in a 36" leg which comes up longer. And even though these are jeggings, they have pockets and stitching just as regular jeans. I can't tell you just how comfortable these babies are. I mean, I have never worn jeans with an elastic waist before but I really can't stress how good they feel. They fit high on the waist with just enough stretch to head out for a night of partying or curl up on the sofa. DP have created a selection of denim styles to suit all shapes and sizes.

For my first look I styled these baby blues...creating a double denim outfit combined with this camel coat with a bold splash of colour. For me there is nothing better than a statement coat to layer over my jeans. This style is quite oversized but works well that way. Double denim is a great combo to dress up or down with a pair of heels and still always provides a polished yet not tried too hard look. My second and third looks will be featured on the blog later this week, so make sure you check in to see how I style my DP jeans.

Autumn is fast approaching and I for one am definitely looking forward to it! Don't get me wrong I love the summer season as much as any other person but styling autumn layers is just the best... so many possibilities, textures and colours!!

Dorothy Perkins have made our AW shopping easier by creating the 'Style Heroes' we all need for the season. Those must have on trend pieces you will wear with everything from roll necks, to the 70's blouse, to tote bags . Two of my favourite staples this autumn have to be the retro pinny dress and ankle boots, perfect pieces to transition into the colder months. And today I've teamed up with DP to show you how I style them.

With camel tones being a must have colour for fall I chose this suedette camel pinnafore dress and kept a retro feel by styling it with this cute pussy bow blouse. Pinny dresses are super easy to style and by adding a white blouse keeps my look girly and chic, perfect for work. For weekend styling try replacing the blouse with a denim shirt or roll neck sweater. The addition of these leather ankle boots with gold trim details provides an effortless feel to my ensemble. Plus they have the perfect heel for everyday use and are extremely comfortable. I can't wait to wear them with my favourite skinny jeans. Completing my look with this suede tassel biker jacket continues the 70's vibe throughout!
