What better way to brighten up the office than in an orange culotte suit! And well Orange is the new black! Whilst in NY I became addicted to this programme so much so that I've already finished watching both season 1 and 2 in the space of 2 weeks!
Orange works well against a number of colours, but my fave has to be pairing with clashing neon brights like these yellow and cobalt tones. For a more subtle look, try styling with monochrome black and white separates.

As soon as I spotted this peplum beauty online I knew I had to have it! How cute is it? I was quite worried about the scuba fabric but once it arrived it fitted like a dream. Moving onto the shoes....my first pair of heels from Primark and boy are these babies comfy. I recently picked them up for a snippet at £12 so definitely worth heading down to your nearest store.

This Friday sees the start of London Fashion Week, which I'm looking forward to. Make sure you check back here to view my outfit picks and show highlights!

Playsuit: BCBGeneration (similar) / Blazer: Zara / Necklace: H&M / Shoes: Asos / Bag: Mulberry  Sunglasses: Vintage / Bracelets: J Crew, Forever 21, Vintage

Finally we have some sun, hope you guys have been enjoying the weather! I totally forgot about this playsuit I purchased last year while in New York. I love the fact that it has a hidden open back and the light fabric is perfect for the weather. Here I paired it with neon accessories for an extra pop!

Blazer & Necklace: Zara // Dress: c/o Zamrie // Shirt: River Island // Bag: H&M
Boots: Stuart Weitzman // Sunglasses: Vintage // Bracelets: J Crew, H&M, Forever21

I recently received this dress from Zamrie and finally got to wear it last week. What initially attracted me to this dress was the print as designer, Ashley Zygmunt created it from a photo she took of a crowd during a concert she attended in Nashville...how cool! Ashley is an up and coming young designer who has studied under the likes of Zac Posen (lucky girl!). It really is amazing how concepts originate. This tea shirt dress is made from a thicker fabric so great for smoothing the silhouette, super comfy and the perfect length for me. I can't wait for the sun to shine so I can pair this with a biker jacket and heels for the weekend.

Dress: Aqua (old) | Necklace: H&M | Clutch: French Connection | Black bracelet: H&M

Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend the BEFFTA Awards (Black entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts). It was a great night, and this galaxy print maxi dress is what I chose to wear. I paired it with this neon necklace from H&M, which went perfectly. The evening ended with veteran journalist, Sir Trevor McDonald winning the lifetime achievement award for his tremendous work in the industry and being the first black television news reader and the British broadcaster with the highest number of awards for his contribution over 30 years.

Last weekend my gorgeous beau threw a surprise birthday party for me at the OXO Tower! I knew he was up to something but had no idea exactly what. This caused me somewhat stress trying to decide what to wear as I had no inkling as to where we were going or what we were doing, so I opted  for this gorgeous leather bodycon dress from Aqua!

Dress:Aqua | Bag: French Connection | Shoes: Zara | Necklace: H&M | Sunglasses: Vintage

It was such a great night, we had the vip area and watched the sun set from the private terrace which provided breath taking views of the city! And to top it off we also managed to watch Jessica Ennis and Mo Farah take gold for GB in the Olympics. With all the screaming and alcohol over the weekend I managed to lose my voice! The venue was simply stunning,  if you ever get to take a trip to London, you must have dinner at the Oxo.Thanks to my family and friends for making it such a memorable night x

How was your week? Have you too been swept up by the Olympic bug?

I finally got to wear this dip dye neon blazer (oohhh two trends in one), I just love the colour combo! These shorts were originally men's vintage Levi jeans that I customised. I seem to be doing a lot more DIY  lately, I will definitely have to show you all soon in future posts!

This weekend I went to the Wireless Festival which was totally AMAZING! I saw Jessie J, J Cole and the headline act Rihanna perform who was absolutely epic! I had lots of fun dancing in the mud and screaming way too much! Bring on the next festival ;)
