Coat: c/o Very, Top: c/o Boden (similar), Skirt: c/o Alomost Famous (similar), Belt: Vintage,

I received this lace skirt a while back but have been waiting for the weather to warm up to wear it. I absolutely love the delicate cut out details...so chic! I styled it here with a lemon coat and a striped Boden sweater for an elegant daytime look. Finishing off with these ahhhmazing Next lace up flats which I can't stop wearing. They are super comfy and very similar to Aquazzura flats that I have been lusting after, however these beauties are at a much affordable price tag of £45! Get ready to see them on here a lot... they literally go with everything from ripped denim skinnies to a simple black dress!

Sweater: Zara, Skirt: c/o Almost Famous, Hat: Whistles (similar), Necklace: c/o New Look
Shoes: c/o Hobbs, Bag: Zara, Sunglasses: Vintage, Bracelets: c/o Annie Haak, J Crew

Lately I have had this perforated midi on repeat. I can't seem to get enough of this pleated midi skirt (last styled here).... and you all know how much I love my midi's! This time I opted to style it with complimentary nudes and burgundy tones, and this blush pink cosy sweater was the perfect piece to style a nude ensemble. It's super chunky and has the most voluminous turtle neck to snuggle up in.

What do you think?

Cape Coat: Topshop, Skirt: c/o Almost Famous, Hat: H&M, Belt: Zara, Necklace: c/o New Look, Bracelets: c/o Annie Haak, J Crew, Sunglasses: Vintage, Boots: c/o Marks & Spencer, Bag: Mulberry

As of late I have become a huge fan of capes whether they be a throw over or more of a coat like this Topshop beauty! Worn open this cape coat is quite voluminous yet structured, but belted creates more of a wrapped up snuggly feel. Plus the collarless neckline provides the perfect opportunity to incorporate a statement necklace! Keeping the neutral colour combo, I styled the coat with this pleated perforated faux leather skirt I recently got from Almost Famous London. This skirt is literally one of those pieces that looks super chic and very much like real leather.

Onto my new favourite red Chelsea boots....get ready to see a lot more of them! I'm a sucker for pointed style shoes, add the fact that they are extremely comfy and provide a low heel with just the right amount of stance to feel chic makes them the perfect AW boot. Plus they run large so any size 9's out there would probably fit perfectly into the size 8. I love them so much so that I had to also purchase a black pair too!

How do you like to style your cape?

Last week I headed down to the gorgeous Almost Famous show room to view their SS14 collection. From the moment I entered my eyes were subjected to an array of colours from pastels to bold neon, lace to tweed, and prints in various forms. Being a lover of colours I was literally in fashion heaven and could have worn any of the pieces right now!

The collection was split into three main categories taken from a summer garden wedding as inspiration; Peacock, Garden Lantern and Painters Garden. My favourite pieces would have to be the neon lace skirt pictured above and the blush v neck sweater, very 50s! Almost Famous is a London boutique who launched in 2002 and now are regular exhibitors at London Fashion Week. Be sure to have a browse through their AW collection online here. Spring get ready for me I'm coming!!!

What's your favourite piece?
