Dune AW12 Preview

This week has been mega busy for me after returning from France, so apologies for being absent for so long! On Tuesday I went to the Dune Group press day in London, if you are not familiar with the brand they produce shoes for Dune, Pied a Terre, Bertie and Chelsea Cobbler.

The event was held just off Edgware Road inside a beautifully presented room with SOooooo many gorgeous shoes, I was literally in my element. The silhouette of the autumn range definitely had a feminine feel with slightly rounded and pointed toes and supple leather. There were so many ankle boots to choose from which was a major hit last season and so has been continued. The brand sizes go up to an 8 but some styles do run large. The theme that seemed to stand out for me was the gold/silver metal detail on the shoe rims and heels, plus the studs...yes stud lovers do not fear they are here to stay!!!

There was a very fun video booth that depicted a 7 second film into a flick book, a snazzy nail bar with Chanel and vintage styling, strawberry daquiri's (woops little tipsy) and a poker table.

So to not keep you waiting here is a sneak peak of some of the styles which will be out late August!

My favourite boot has to be the triple strap ankle studded boot from Pied a Terre, good heel height and totally reminds me of the Chloe stud boots I have been wanting for ages but with a much cheaper price tag! There were so many styles I liked, too much to choose from and although the sun has just now started to bless us, I hate to say it but ......BRING ON A/W!!!

This week I also attended a fashion show and a blogging event, posts to follow next week. The weather has been absoluuuuuutely amazing this weekend, hope you all have had great weather too!
