With London finally gracing us with warmer temperatures you can never be too sure on the weather here... so the perfect styling technique is to work light layers providing a stylish, yet cool ensemble. Todays post I'm styling my forever trusted flares...if you haven't picked up a pair for yourself yet then I suggest you do now as they will definitely be your summer saviours! Working a blue and white theme, I styled this striped Zara dress with a sheer navy sleeveless shirt and white blazer. Adding a pop of yellow with my bag and these fun cat eye sunnies was the perfect pieces to keep my look chic and playful.

I've always been more a skirt girl but lately I seem to be edging more towards trousers. This is probably due to the fact that there are a much larger variety of long trouser options available at the moment with the 70's trend in full swing! These palazzo trousers from Asos Tall were another one of my must haves, they are super long and so easy to wear. Not only do they come in this burgundy shade but they also have black too here.

Keeping my look sophisticated, I styled these pants with a burgundy fedora, a striped blazer and skinny belt to emphasise my waist, as sometimes a wide leg can be quite overwhelming.

What do you think?

Blazer: c/o H&M, Jeans: Frame, Ear cuff: c/o Topshop, Sunglasses: c/o Felder Felder x Silhouette, Shoes: Topshop, Necklace: c/o Topshop

So recently I have been falling more and more in love with smoking jackets and this H&M style was at the top of my wish list as soon as I saw it. With a price tag of only £14.99 it really was a no brainer! Pairing with my trusty flares and a tiered necklace from Topshop kept the overall look effortless and chic.
Back in February I attended the Felder Felder show at LFW as a guest of eyewear brand Silhouette who collaborated with the designer duo to create ultra lightweight cat eye sunglasses for the show. Silhouette recently sent me a pair of the sunnies and these have to be the lightest glasses that have ever graced my face. There is literally nothing better than wearing sylish eyewear without feeling like they are pressing down on your nasal bone. The shape is quite retro and they come in dark green, pink, brown, orange and grey. Be sure to check out the full range here.

The one thing I love about jumpsuits is that they are the perfect piece that can take you from day to night, and this grey Rare London jumpsuit is definitely office worthy! Also the fact that this one actually fits is a bonus too. Today I'm styling this all in one with a sleeveless roll neck and cape coat, contrasted with a stripe blazer worn underneath.

So today's post is all about these H&M new body shaping jeans. I was recently invited by H&M to their brand new HQ for a VIP session to style their new high tech shaping jeans along with other items from the collection. On arrival I was taken through the denim collection then had fun trying on and creating a head to toe look, whilst snacking on macaroons and bubbly!

My first thoughts on these jeans were how super comfy and stretchy they were, plus they run up to 34'' leg so perfect for the warmer months to come. They also hold and shape the stomach and bum area.... so very flattering! There are four washes available, black, indigo, light denim and grey.  I opted for the black wash (great for leg lengthening) and styled them with this crop jacket and stripe bell sleeve top, a fringe clutch and these gorgeous suede heels which I instantly fell in love with! All items are now available in store and online.

Thanks again to H&M for inviting me, I had so much fun in the show room. These denim beauties will definitely be a summer staple in my closet.

What do you think? Have you road tested these jeans yet?

Last time I styled this Hobbs midi skirt was during the summer in the sweltering heat of New York and now in Autumn it works so well due to the weight and fabric! I just love the fact that this colour is so transitional, yet bright enough to lift your mood during dull weather. Most items in this outfit are oldies however being able to rework your timeless pieces over and over again is the best thing about having a capsule wardrobe! Always think about next season when parting with your money in a store as increasing your cost per wear just adds unlimited opportunities when it comes to styling!

Here's some of my current fave dusty rose midi skirts
