Leather Jacket: River Island, Bralet: Miss Selfridge, Culottes: Topshop, Bag: Asos (similar)
Shoes: Asos, Sunglasses: Vintage, Necklace: Zara

Sometimes a simple black and white ensemble can say so much with very little styling required. Take this bralet and culottes combo, styled on their own works well for an evening dinner but the addition of a white leather jacket and contrasting blue clutch adds edge to the overall look for a lunch date. These culottes have literally been a summer staple for me as they go with so many things in my closet, definitely my go to summer trouser!

What has been your summer staple?

I recently attended a blogger's breakfast held by Long Tall Sally at their head office in London where I got to view the high summer collection before it launched in stores. Although the collection was mainly classic, there were a few pieces which were trendy and when paired with the right items could really set the perfect tone for a fashion conscious tall girl.

I have always wanted a pair of dungarees and this season the merch team over at LTS have designed one for all the leggy girls all over the world. Another style that was on offer in abundance were jumpsuits and after trying them on I can conclude that they really do fit well, perfectly long enough in the body, rise and legs. The floral style above is my favourite, check out my instagram page to see how I styled it.

What do you think of the new LTS high summer range?

Dress: c/o TTYA | Shoes: New Look | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Bag: H&M trend | Necklace: Zara Bracelets: J Crew

Every girl needs a classic black dress, that staple piece for any event that can be dressed up or down. A few months ago I attended an event for Taller Than Your Average who have an online store as welll as their products showcasing in Selfirdges. London based fashion stylist and founder Irene Agbontaen was lovely enough to gift me this gorgeous dress and I have to say I was very impressed with the quality and fit!

I'm absolutely loving this pleated floral midi skirt. I was instantly attracted to the illuminous colour although you can't really see just how much of a highlighter it actually is in these photos. Kept it casual with a chambray shirt for a lunch date. Today we have had rain all day so really can't wait for my holiday this weekend as I'm flying out on my birthday to Turkey...Whoohoo!

Hope you are all having a good week!

You can never have too many black dresses right? This cutesy was sent over to me by Next. I'm loving the lace effect and length, plus it has just a little bit more detail to set apart from the others in my closet. Can't wait to style this in the autumn with a chunky knit!

Kenzo sweater: Choies similar | Shirt: Long Tall Sally | Skirt: H&M similar | Bag: c/o Beara Beara
Hat: Topshop | Shoes & Jacket: New Look | Necklace: Forever 21

I can't tell you how much I lusted over the Kenzo sweater during AW12 fashion week, I'm a leo and love to pay homage to my inner lioness! To my dismay it was sold out. One month later I found a much cheaper version and since it arrived in the post I have been wearing it continuously. Here I styled it with my tangerine skater skirt (perfect match) and this gorgeous bag from Beara Beara.  I absolutely love this satchel, the soft leather, structure and the fact that each bag is individually handmade in Bolivia by the natives just makes it all that more alluring and unique!

Blazer & Pants: Topshop, loving this one | Top: Long Tall Sally | Necklace: Zara love this and this Bag: Primark similar here and here | Shoes: Zara | Bracelets: J Crew & Forever 21

The floral trend has continued for winter and with deeper and warmer tones around, it is definitely easy to wear. With printed pieces I love the fact that you can pick out a number of colours to pair your outfit with and therefore create a new look each time.

My weekend was spent preparing for Christmas and shopping for gifts. This week I intend to put my Christmas tree up and then the festivities will truly begin!

Thanks for reading, and enjoy your week!
