A few weeks ago I attended an event but this time it was a chance for bloggers to come together and talk about all things fashion and make up! The Blogger's Boutique was held in the uber stylish Drift Bar in Liverpool St held by three lovely young ladies Shore, Shope and Amy.
It was a hot day but very windy and more than once I had a Marilyn moment in this gorge Aqua skirt, but luckily kept my dignity! For a day time look I teamed it with a casual stripe tee from Zara.
Brands such as Motel Rocks, Internacionale, Filthy Gorgeous and Lauren's Way were there giving talks on the products available as well as a sneak peak of the new season collections to come. Thanks to the hostesses with the mostess goodies....aka, the HUGE gift bags we all struglled to carry home...well I know I did!

AHhh so much I want to say here! This event look slike so much fun, and NO WAY do you get to complain about lugging home a gift bag! hahah
ReplyDeleteI have been looking everywhere for a skirt like this - I am so so jealous of yours. The pleats are perfect, and the length!! Obviously this is a problem for you as well if you are really "tall", - isn't it hard to find maxi skirts that dont' cut at awkward lengths? It kills me.
And I love that little floral bra top here - so perfect. It would work so well with a maxi skirt.
You are so so beautiful and this is such a great blog with such a perfecto name!

Awww thanks so much Gabriella! Haha I know I shouldn't really but it was such a hot day;). Maxis that are truly maxi is definitely hard to find when you're tall. Thanks for your lovely comment hun and visit, glad you like it x

it's so funny that I was just looking up what the hottest new colour is in 2012, and you happen to be wearing it. That skirt is really energetic. I also love that very vintage looking bathing suit, I love full piece bathing suits even more than bikinis.

Ah lol, I've always loved orange especially during the summer! The bathing suit is very cute, very 50s, but I always tend to wear a two piece x

Hi, I just discovered your blog! You look fantastic! I am tall too and it was always pain in the ass to buy things which I like because they are most of the time too small or short :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Martyna, always nice to meet a fellow tall girl, and yes I totally understand the issue with finding the right things to fit, especially trousers :)
