Blazer: Topshop, Skort: c/o Very (now in sale), Shoes: c/o Hobbs, Sunglasses: c/o Kite, Necklace: Ily Couture, Bag: Asos (similar here or here), Bracelets: c/o Annie Haak

Today's post is all about mixing neutral tones around this Very floral skirt, now in sale and has a matching sweater too (which I've just ordered).

Recently I visited KiteGB in their new Westfield Stratford store to receive a complimentary eye test and then chose a pair of frames to suit. I opted for sunglasses as I fell in love with these tinted Fournier frames, a classic wayfarer frame with an east London edge, which I then had the option of choosing the colour of frame and lens. The service was amazing as the assistants really allowed me to take my time and went through the options of the different frames available and even offered me a juice while I decided. The thorough eye test examination took around 45mins but the examiner was very friendly so made the time pass quickly.  If you are in east London anytime soon and need an eye check, take a trip to Kite and try their free eye test (for a limited period)!

Skirt: Asos | Shirt: Primark (similar) | Shoes: Asos | Clutch: Asos | Necklace
& Bracelet: J Crew | Sunglasses: Vintage

I'm absolutely loving this pleated floral midi skirt. I was instantly attracted to the illuminous colour although you can't really see just how much of a highlighter it actually is in these photos. Kept it casual with a chambray shirt for a lunch date. Today we have had rain all day so really can't wait for my holiday this weekend as I'm flying out on my birthday to Turkey...Whoohoo!

Hope you are all having a good week!

Blazer & Pants: Topshop, loving this one | Top: Long Tall Sally | Necklace: Zara love this and this Bag: Primark similar here and here | Shoes: Zara | Bracelets: J Crew & Forever 21

The floral trend has continued for winter and with deeper and warmer tones around, it is definitely easy to wear. With printed pieces I love the fact that you can pick out a number of colours to pair your outfit with and therefore create a new look each time.

My weekend was spent preparing for Christmas and shopping for gifts. This week I intend to put my Christmas tree up and then the festivities will truly begin!

Thanks for reading, and enjoy your week!

I took a trip to Portobello Road recently wearing this outfit and I had my lovely friend Anna accompany me to take pictures . I love mixing prints, and florals and stripes is a great way to start.

In my last post I told you that I have been caught up with the Olympic bug and today I actually got to wear and HOLD a GOLD Olympic medal...... won by Team GB's Katherine Graigner & Anna Watkins gold medal rowers. Post to follow this week....ekkk!

What a manic week I had (as I breathe out a sigh of relief). This is what I wore to TOWIB last weekend. My my did I learn a lot about the do's and don'ts of colouring hair and skincare techniques.
As I type this I am laughing hysterically at these pics as it was super windy and my friend Monyka and I had a tough time trying to take pictures of our outfits before the wind swept us away with a mouthful of hair in tow!

Jumper & Necklace: Zara  | Trousers: Whistles | Bag: Chanel | Belt & Sunglasses: Vintage Sandals: Long Tall Sally (old) | Ring: Accessorize | Spike bracelet: Internacionale (AW12)

There are so many floral prints out at the moment and I really seem to be stacking up a pile in my closet. These silk trousers are from Whistles, put aside the price tag you really do get what you pay for as the quality is awesome.

So as I said this event definitely got me thinking about my skincare regime and whether I'm getting all I can out of my skin. I've also decided to start using eye cream, any suggestions are very welcome! What's your skincare regime? Do you cleanse, tone and moisturise or do you need to join me in the naughty corner?

Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
