Coat: c/o Asos, Jeans: c/o Asos, Blouse: c/o Next (similar), Necklace: c/o Topshop, Shoes: c/o Next
Bag: LK Bennett, Hat: Whistles

When I initially put this outfit together I did feel quite gothic leaving the house. I'm usually more into bright colours rather than monochrome however I got so many compliments that day... I guess it wasn't as gothic as I thought!

This striped blouse is perfect for those gifted in the boob department as it's a low cut however actually covers everything. Adding a 70's touch with my trusty fedora and lightweight duster coat provides an elegant off duty look. I have recently been loving chokers and this velvet choker which originally came with a pendant is an easy way to dip into the 70's trend.

Poncho: Zara (current), Top: Topshop, Jeans: Marks & Spencer (old), Boots: Marks & Spencer
Bag: LK Bennett, Scarf: Urban Outfitters, Hat: Laird London, Sunglasses: Vintage
Bracelets: Annie Haak

With the current explosion of the poncho taking over the high street since the Burberry AW14 runway show, there are literally so many to choose from. But with such a wide range of choice, which style should you go for? I recently spotted this aztec cover up style in Zara and of course had to get it as for me it's the perfect accessory for layering over winter knits and denim shirts, or even working over a leather biker jacket. Mixing prints with a tartan scarf and grid print bag keeps the overall look fun whilst still maintaining the colour combo of red and white.

Shoes: LK Bennett , Perspex bracelet: Coast , Sunglasses: Vintage, Brooch: Chanel, Phone case: Asos

Definitely felt like a modern day Bridget in this cute top from Zamrie. The neckline was what instantly drew me to this piece, so chic and simple yet makes a statement .... cannot tell you how many compliments I got! Zamrie have recently re -launched with a spanking new website and continue to push the boundaries in creating comfy, versatile clothes for the modern girl. This timeless top can be styled in a number of ways taking you from a chic fashion conscious ensemble to pairing with your every day jeans, wearing back to front or even layering over a blouse and tucking into a pencil skirt for work in the autumn .... a seasonal transition piece ensuring your cost per wear!

I chose to style my 'Bridget number' with these super soft luxury cotton floral pants, obi belt, and my trusty metallic flats from LK Bennett! I've just returned from Germany, extremely grateful for the warm weather. Hope the sun is coming your way too!
