There may be times when you want to try a trend but not sure if it will suit you. Instead of diving straight in, the best way to experiment with a print is to wear a bit of it here and there to ease yourself in slowly. I absolutely love these tartan patchwork jeans from Primark, they are fun, stylish and comy, and at £15 there was no way I could leave them! I styled them with this cute bow tie to keep the plaid working through my look.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the tartan trend?

Dress: Asos (similar) , Shirt: Long Tall Sally, Blazer: Mango, Shoes: Reiss, Bag: Mulberry, Belt: Zara (old), Necklace: Zara (current), Bag: Mulberry, Bracelets: ADR & J Crew

The wiggle dress is one of my favourite shapes, the length, the movability and the fact that it adds curves in all the right places....Bonus!  From florals to stripes to leather there is a print for everyone!

Instead of just wearing my wiggle dress with a plain blazer, I clashed it with a stripe one to ensure my dress works overtime creating different ways to wear it!

Coat: Marni, Skirt: Asos, Shirt: Long Tall Sally, Sweater: Long Tall Sally, Bow tie: Asos, Braces: Ebay, Boots: Topshop (old), Bag: Mulberry, Bracelets: J Crew & ADR, Rings: Asos

I have always been a fan of clashing prints and love that although two prints may not match, you can still merge them to create a match made in heaven. That is exactly how I felt when I wore this Asos pleated skirt with my printed Marni coat. The addition of braces and a cute bow kept the overall look playful and fun!

Blazer: Zara (similar) | Tee: Zara (similar) | Jeans: Long Tall Sally (old) | Bag: Zara | Shoes: Zara (old) Necklace: Zara | Sunglasses: Vintage

This floral blazer was the perfect thing to wear for a stroll in the park! I instantly fell in love with the structured shoulders and because of my love for anything floral meant that it was a necessity for my closet. Make a fabulous impact by styling a printed blazer with a basic tee and striking necklace, the perfect throw on for day to night.

If you too are a fan of prints, then take a look at Persunmall's website as they have a huge range of cute on trend blouses. My favourites would have to be this floral monochrome number or this retro shirt.

I have been so busy lately, it feels like the year is just flying by. Still can't believe we are already half way through! Working formal blazers into a casual outfit is fairly easy if you stick to staple pieces like a breton tee. I recently purchased this monochrome blazer and decided to style it casual with my boyfriend jeans and a tee for a day of lounging in the sun over the bank holiday weekend. And by adding a glitzy necklace still keeps the look chic and true to my style.

Hi lovelies, I've been having a hectic few weeks so apologies for being so absent. As you know I'm a lover for animal prints in any shape or form, so when I spotted this blouse in Zara I instantly fell in love. I think I've become totally obsessed with animal prints in monochrome!!! The weather has finally picked up here in London so I really can't wait to have continuous days where I can get my legs out and enjoy the sun. Its amazing the effect a little bit if sun has on everyone's mood!

Last weekend I attended the George at Asda summer preview and they too had a major focus on monochromatic prints like this. Be sure to check out their full women's range.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Blazer & Necklace: Zara // Dress: c/o Zamrie // Shirt: River Island // Bag: H&M
Boots: Stuart Weitzman // Sunglasses: Vintage // Bracelets: J Crew, H&M, Forever21

I recently received this dress from Zamrie and finally got to wear it last week. What initially attracted me to this dress was the print as designer, Ashley Zygmunt created it from a photo she took of a crowd during a concert she attended in Nashville...how cool! Ashley is an up and coming young designer who has studied under the likes of Zac Posen (lucky girl!). It really is amazing how concepts originate. This tea shirt dress is made from a thicker fabric so great for smoothing the silhouette, super comfy and the perfect length for me. I can't wait for the sun to shine so I can pair this with a biker jacket and heels for the weekend.

Blazer:Vintage | Sweater: River Island | Pencil skirt: Asos | Bag: Chanel | Shoes: Reiss | Necklace: ADR x H&M | Sunglasses: Vintage, love these | Bracelets: J Crew & H&M

My second outfit for London Fashion Week, a diamond print pencil skirt, yellow sweater and vintage blazer. Don't you just love midi skirts? This one was the perfect length to wear as although the sun came out it was still quite chilly. Continuing with the monochrome effect I clashed my midi skirt with my comfy zebra print flats (worn here) from Reiss (essential for running around in) and added a splash of neon with this River Island sweater. As I was very busy with shows I didn't get a chance to stop and take any photos so thanks to Beccy for sending these over! I love that fashion week brings people from all over the world together whilst fusing different types of style concoctions under one roof.

As it's officially spring, today I rearranged my closet so that I have easy access to my warmer clothes....whenever that day may come...soon I hope!

Happy Sunday my beauties!

Hi lovelies, this was the first outfit that I wore to London Fashion Week. My sister recently bought me these zebra print shoes from Reiss and although it has been cold outside I have been dying to wear them. You can imagine just how excited I was when I found this striped coat which matched so well, and added with this top (again with black stripes), I think created a great ensemble. Working the same prints together can sometimes be a bit tricky or too matchy matchy...but by blending the same colour combo with the prints positioned in different directions helps pull the look together! How do you like to wear your prints?

Did you notice that I also recently changed my header, with an illustration done by my friend Alice. What do you think of it?

Enjoy your week!
